Kevina Reel MISCP

Kevina Reel

Kevina is a fully licensed and insured chartered physiotherapist who graduated from The Royal College of Surgeons with an honours degree in Bsc Physiotherapy in 2008. She was awarded the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists clinical prize for best performance in clinical practice.

Once qualified she subsequently travelled to New Zealand where she worked in a large private clinic. Here she gained extensive experience in a variety of disciplines within the physiotherapy profession. These included musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, neurological rehabilitation, women’s health, vestibular rehabilitation and care of the elderly. 

On return to Ireland Kevina worked in hospital and community settings both in Cork and Dublin.  More recently she worked in The National Maternity Hospital in Holles Street in Dublin providing antenatal and postnatal education, treating pregnancy related pelvic and back pain and pelvic floor and bowel dysfunction. 

Kevina has completed a number of post graduate courses including clinical Pilates and dry needling. She has a special interest in treating sports injuries, pelvic floor dysfunction, back pain and Pilates.

 

Gerard Corcoran, MISCP

Gerard qualified from the University of Limerick in 2014 with a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy and joined the team in March 2016. After graduating, Gerard moved to New Zealand where he worked in a busy private practice in central Auckland. Here he worked with a greatly varying case load; from acute sporting injuries, to post operative patients and more chronic, long-standing issues.

While in New Zealand, Gerard continued his professional development by completing courses in

Trigger Point Dry Needling and A.P.P.I. certified Mat Work Pilates.

Gerard has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries including low back and neck pain, soft tissue injuries and post operative rehabilitation.

Gerard has always had a passion for sport. He has worked as team Physiotherapist for a number of GAA teams in Limerick and Tipperary since graduating, and UL Bohemians rugby club in Limerick. He was also involved with various rugby league and union teams in New Zealand throughout his time there.

Gerard also comes from a sporting background himself, playing hurling in Tipperary for his home club, Kilruane McDonaghs. He also plays football and is a keen runner and cyclist.
